His expertise has been sought after by media outlets including the Washington Post, Kaiser Health News, Health Insurance Underwriter, along with regional newspapers, podcasts and television stations.

Dan has been requested to Washington DC to discuss Healthcare.gov with the Department of Health and Humans Services numerous times. He has been involved within the Wellmark Blue Cross Medicare Advantage Advisory Board.

Dan's "outside the box" thinking and numerous contacts has allowed Premier Health Insurance of Iowa to provide a level of acumen that has proven essential in the current healthcare / health insurance environment. He considers time with his wife and two children more important than all else. However, when not with his family you may be able to find him with a back pack on traveling the world or diving in caves and shipwrecks.
